The four kits do the same job in different ways. The TAG is the lowest price and hands-free. The ring and smartwatch suit drivers who would rather wear the proof than carry it. The PIN code version costs more as a kit, but there is nothing to carry or lose.

Every system includes the immobiliser, so you never pay for it twice. Choose the One for a single dashcam or the Duo for two cameras, then decide whether you want the Plus 4G version with the GPS tracker.

- LockCAR immobilisers work on 12 V and 24 V vehicles. The Vehicle CHECK confirms yours before you pay.
If you are comparing quotes from other suppliers, line up three numbers: the kit price, the fitting price and any monthly fee. Only then is the comparison fair.
If you are unsure which model fits, start from how you use the car. A commuter who always wears a watch may prefer the smartwatch. A family car shared by several drivers suits the PIN.

How much is a fitted immobiliser?
With LockCAR, a fob (TAG) immobiliser fitted by an approved installer costs £249, and the PIN code version costs £299.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. LockCAR immobilisers need no subscription. You pay once.
Is the cheapest kit less secure?
All four models work on the same idea: the engine stays blocked until you prove it’s you. What changes is how you do that.
Can I buy just the kit?
Yes, kits are sold in the LockCAR shop. We suggest fitting by an approved installer who knows the system.
Can it be fitted at home?
Yes. Approved installers fit at your home, at work or at an installation centre.
