VW Golf and Passat immobiliser UK, stopping relay and CAN bus attacks

Volkswagen Golf and Passat models with keyless entry have appeared increasingly in UK vehicle theft data. VW’s Keyless Access system uses the same passive RF architecture as every other relay-vulnerable platform. Volkswagen Group vehicles including Golf, Passat, Tiguan, and Touareg use the Keyless Access system as standard or optional equipment on mid and top trim levels.
