CAN BE STOLEN

An immobiliser that stops working the moment you sit down is not protecting you at all
Most immobilisers do one job: stop the engine from starting before anyone gets in. Once you are behind the wheel and driving, that layer of protection is finished. LockCar CAN-IMMO is built to keep working after that point too.
Being inside the car does not mean you are safe from theft
A standard immobiliser is designed around one moment: the engine start. It checks whether a recognised key or code is present, and if it is not, the engine does not turn over. That is useful for preventing a parked, empty car from being driven away. It says nothing about what happens once the car is already moving with a driver inside.
A vehicle can be taken over while the owner is still in it, or handed over under pressure, and a standard immobiliser has no way to respond to that, because its job already finished the moment the engine started. This is the gap that anti-hijack protection is built to close.
LockCar CAN-IMMO includes anti-hijack protection as part of its Bluetooth TAG feature set. If the authorised TAG linked to the vehicle is no longer detected while the car is being driven, the system can activate its anti-hijack response according to how the vehicle has been configured.
The TAG is what turns a start-up check into ongoing protection
CAN-IMMO is a CAN bus, LIN bus and ADC bus PIN immobiliser controlled through a smartphone app over Bluetooth. On top of that, an optional Bluetooth proximity TAG can be added, and this is where the anti-hijack function comes from.
The TAG is what the system checks for continuously, not just at the moment of starting the engine. As long as the TAG stays in range, the car can be driven with no PIN entry needed at all. If that TAG drops out of range while the vehicle is in motion, the system treats that as a signal worth acting on.
A PIN check at start-up protects a parked car. A TAG that is monitored continuously is what lets the system respond to what happens after the engine is already running.
What changes for you, not just for the car
Hands-free by default
With the TAG in range, the car disarms automatically and there is no PIN to enter every time you get in.
Control from your phone
The Android and iPhone app lets you check and configure the system without needing a dashboard keypad.
Nothing to spot
Hidden installation with no LEDs and no keypad means there is nothing visible signalling that the car is protected.

Frequently asked questions
Does anti-hijack protection work without the Bluetooth TAG?
The anti-hijack function is enabled through the optional Bluetooth proximity TAG. Without the TAG, CAN-IMMO still operates as a CAN bus, LIN bus and ADC bus PIN immobiliser controlled through the app.
Is there a keypad or PIN pad fitted in the car?
No. CAN-IMMO has no keypad and no LEDs. Control is through the smartphone app and, if fitted, the Bluetooth TAG.
How does the system respond if the TAG goes out of range while driving?
The system can activate its anti-hijack protection according to the configuration set for your vehicle at installation.
Can this be fitted to any car?
CAN-IMMO is designed for universal fitment and supports CAN bus, LIN bus and ADC bus vehicles. Installation is vehicle-specific and a fitting guide is supplied.
