The immobiliser is designed to operate only when the car is awakened, if the car is turned off, the immobiliser shuts down.
What happens if the tag battery goes flat?
The car can still be released with your backup method. The tag battery is a standard CR2032 cell that lasts around 10 months and is easy to replace.
Can a thief find and bypass it?
