Will the immobiliser drain my car battery?
No. The immobiliser only works when the car is awake. Once the vehicle is switched off and goes to sleep, the unit shuts down too, so it does not sit draining the battery while the car is parked.

Once the ring is charged again, it goes back to releasing the engine hands-free.
