At the simpler end, models like the LockCar i125 and i226 are relay based units built around a power relay that cuts an engine circuit, straightforward, effective, and priced accordingly.
CAN-IMMO sits in the middle: a CAN bus, LIN bus and ADC bus PIN immobiliser controlled from a smartphone app, with an optional Bluetooth TAG for hands-free disarming and anti-hijack protection, without the cost of a full standalone MCU.
At the top of the immobiliser range, the IS357 and IC3ST are built around LockCar’s independent MCU, each including a TAG ID fob for hands-free disarming out of the box, with the IS357 adding a longer 5 metre detection range and support for a trust device such as a smartwatch or smart ring.
