3. An approved installer comes to you. Home, work, or anywhere in the area you can legally leave the car for a few hours. Have both keys ready, and tell us in advance if the battery is marginal, because the car sits on ignition for part of the job.

4. The module goes in hidden. The unit joins the vehicle’s own network using the existing connectors, so nothing is cut and nothing is spliced. Wiring is routed so that with the trim back on there is nothing to see – no box, no LED, no keypad. Every factory function is tested before the installer leaves.

5. You are shown how to live with it. Pairing the proximity tag, using the app, setting valet mode for a garage visit, and the backup methods if a tag is lost or a phone goes flat. You keep the installer’s number for anything that comes up later.

Will a CAN Bus Immobiliser UK stop my keyless car being stolen?

It stops the keyless method, which is the fast one. A relayed signal or a cloned key no longer satisfies the car, because the second check is missing. A low-loader is a different attack, and no immobiliser prevents it.
