Key Cloning Protection Car Immobiliser Tag Fob Anti Theft Keyless Engine Block
Thieves can now copy or programme a new key for many modern cars in minutes. A tag immobiliser means a new key is not enough. The engine block only releases for your own LockCar tag, so a cloned key opens the door but leaves the car going nowhere.

A Second Key That Cannot Be Created Through the OBD Port
Key cloning and key programming attack the car’s own key system. The LockCar tag is not part of that system, so programming a new key through the diagnostic port does not create a new LockCar tag. Without a tag paired to your immobiliser, the engine stays blocked.
- Tag is paired to the immobiliser, not to the car’s key system
- New keys programmed via OBD do not lift the engine block
- Encrypted Bluetooth code unique to your system
- New tags are paired and managed through your app

Protection That Switches On Every Time You Walk Away
A copied key is often used hours or days after it is made, usually at night. The immobiliser arms itself automatically as soon as you and your tag leave the car, so there is no moment when a cloned key can be used without the block in place.
- Automatic arming as you walk away
- Automatic release when you return with the tag
- Adjustable range between 1 and 5 metres
- Switch the tag off before handing your keys to someone else

Why a Cloned Key Opens the Door but Not the Engine
A cloned key copies what your factory key sends, so the car opens and the dashboard lights up. The engine block works outside that system and waits for your LockCar tag. A thief holding only a copy reaches the driving seat and gets no further.
- Cloned and reprogrammed keys cannot start the engine
- CAN injection attempts are blocked as well
- Hidden module fitted in a different place on every car
- Motion detection blocks the engine without authorisation

Authorised Devices You Control: Tag, Watch or Ring
Only devices you pair can release the engine. That can be the tag, a compatible smart watch or a smart ring. Everything is managed in the app, where you can check the authorisation log and remove a device the moment it goes missing.
- Pair or remove devices in the app
- Authorisation log shows each release
- Smart watch or ring can replace the tag
- Valet mode for services and car washes

Frequently asked questions
Can a thief program a new key and drive my car away?
They can program a key for the car’s own system, but that key is not paired to the LockCar immobiliser. The engine stays blocked until an authorised tag, watch or ring is in range.
Is the LockCar tag easy to clone?
The tag uses an encrypted Bluetooth code unique to your system and works on a short range that you set. It is not part of the factory key system that cloning tools are built for.
What if someone makes a copy of my factory key?
A copy may open the doors, but it cannot start the engine without your LockCar tag, so the car stays parked.
Can I leave my car at a garage without the tag?
Yes. Use valet mode in the app while the car is being serviced, then switch it back when you collect the car.
Will fitting the immobiliser affect my warranty?
It is connected over the CAN data network without cutting critical factory wiring, and the fitting can be fully reversed, so it should not affect your manufacturer warranty.
How long does the tag battery last?
It uses a standard CR2032 cell that lasts around 10 months. If it runs flat, the car can still be released with your backup method.
