MOTION DETECTION

LockCar blocks the engine by motion detection if the owner has not passed authorisation. This allows a correct remote engine start without disarming the security.

ANTI-HIJACK

If the car is taken while running, the system blocks the engine progressively and alerts the owner immediately.

DRIVER RECOGNITION

When you have the tag, smartwatch, or smart ring with you, the immobilizer identifies you as an authorized driver, allowing you to start the engine automatically without entering a PIN each time.

BLUETOOTH TAG

Encrypted Bluetooth authorisation by tag, smart watch or smart ring, with an adjustable working range of 1 to 5 metres.

Can a thief program a new key and drive my car away?

They can program a key for the car’s own system, but that key is not paired to the LockCar immobiliser. The engine stays blocked until an authorised tag, watch or ring is in range.

Is the LockCar tag easy to clone?

The tag uses an encrypted Bluetooth code unique to your system and works on a short range that you set. It is not part of the factory key system that cloning tools are built for.

What if someone makes a copy of my factory key?

A copy may open the doors, but it cannot start the engine without your LockCar tag, so the car stays parked.

Can I leave my car at a garage without the tag?

Yes. Use valet mode in the app while the car is being serviced, then switch it back when you collect the car.

Will fitting the immobiliser affect my warranty?

It is connected over the CAN data network without cutting critical factory wiring, and the fitting can be fully reversed, so it should not affect your manufacturer warranty.
