How the engine block stops a car being driven away
Thieves open cars in several ways: a relayed signal, a cloned key or a key coded through the diagnostic port. The DK3262 does not care which method was used, because it only checks for your paired smart ring. Without it, the engine block stays in place. No. The immobiliser only works when the car is awake. Once the vehicle is switched off and goes to sleep, the unit shuts down too, so it does not sit draining the battery while the car is parked.

The LockCar DK3262 gives you two ways to authorise the engine: automatically, with your paired smart ring as the digital key, or manually, with the LockCar mobile app. If the ring’s battery is flat, simply open the app and send the manual command to authorise the start. Once the ring is charged again, it goes back to releasing the engine hands-free.
