Smartwatch Car Immobiliser Hands Free Engine Block Keyless Relay Theft Security
A smartwatch car immobiliser turns the watch already on your wrist into the key your car has to see. The LockCar SMART-IC3262 looks for your paired watch every time the engine is started. In range, the engine is released and you drive as normal. Out of range, the engine block stays on, so a boosted key signal or a copied fob still gets nobody anywhere.

Car immobiliser smartwatch pairing: one watch, one car, one owner
Once paired, your smartwatch becomes a key only you wear. The SMART-IC3262 accepts your own paired watch rather than a generic factory code, so a watch that has not been paired to your car will not release the engine.
- Pairs with your own smartwatch through the LockCar app
- Accepts only watches paired to your car
- Encrypted link between watch and immobiliser
- Nothing added to the dashboard or keyring
- The factory key keeps working as before, with the watch as the second check

Smartwatch start in everyday driving
Morning commute, weekend trip or a late drive home: the routine is the same. Wear the watch, get in and press start. Because recognition happens in the background, you never wait for the car or tap anything on your wrist.
- No tapping or unlocking on the watch face
- Recognition happens before you press start
- The same routine day or night
- Works where there is no mobile signal, such as underground car parks
- The engine is blocked again when you leave with the watch

A hands free engine block that stays on until your watch is near
The default state of the car is blocked. It only changes when your paired watch comes within range, and it changes back as soon as the watch goes. That means the engine is protected every time you walk away, without you doing anything.
- Engine blocked by default, released only by your watch
- Protection returns automatically when you walk away
- Relayed or cloned keys cannot start the engine
- Car alarm triggered after 30 seconds without a recognised watch
- Hidden unit with no LEDs or sounds

Driver recognition, with manual control when you want it
Automatic recognition covers everyday use, but you stay in charge. The LockCar app lets you arm or disarm by hand, hand the car over in valet mode and see the authorisation log, while the backup PIN is there for the day your watch battery runs flat.
- Manual arm and disarm from the app at any time
- Valet mode for servicing without handing over your watch
- Authorisation log of every release
- Backup PIN for emergencies
- 12 month UK hardware warranty

Frequently asked questions
Will a car immobiliser void my manufacturer warranty?
No. The SMART-IC3262 is an add-on security device that does not reprogram or modify the vehicle’s factory software. Fitted correctly by a professional installer, it can be removed again, so it should not affect the manufacturer warranty.
Will the immobiliser drain my car battery?
No. The immobiliser only works when the car is awake. Once the vehicle is switched off and goes to sleep, the unit shuts down too, so it does not sit draining the battery while the car is parked.
Can a thief find and bypass it?
There are no LEDs, no beeps and no keypad in the cabin, so nothing tells a thief that a second lock is fitted. Every installation is hidden in a different place, and with no standard fitting point, finding the block is impractical in the time a thief has.
What happens if my phone is dead or there is no signal?
The car never depends on your phone. The immobiliser works completely offline: no internet, no mobile signal and no subscription. It releases the engine as soon as it recognises your paired smartwatch, and the app is only there when you want to arm or disarm it by hand, or change the settings.
How close does my watch have to be?
You choose. The detection range is adjustable from 1 to 5 metres, so you can set the car to release as you walk up to it, or only once you are inside.
What happens if someone opens the car with a relayed or cloned key?
The doors may open, but the engine stays blocked. If no authorised smartwatch is identified within 30 seconds of the ignition being switched on, the immobiliser triggers the car’s alarm.
Do I have to press anything or remember a code?
No. There is no PIN sequence, no keypad and no extra fob on your keyring. Wear your paired watch, get in and start the engine as you always have.
Can I still control it myself?
Yes. The LockCar app lets you arm or disarm the immobiliser manually at any time, and it is where you pair your watch and adjust the settings, including the detection range.
