LockCar’s range runs from a simple relay based unit through to a full MCU with a proximity TAG and anti-hijack protection. The right choice depends on your vehicle, your budget, and how hands-off you want daily use to be.
Price mostly tracks how the system is disarmed
At the simpler end, models like the LockCar i125 and i226 are relay based units built around a power relay that cuts an engine circuit, straightforward, effective, and priced accordingly.
CAN-IMMO sits in the middle: a CAN bus, LIN bus and ADC bus PIN immobiliser controlled from a smartphone app, with an optional Bluetooth TAG for hands-free disarming and anti-hijack protection, without the cost of a full standalone MCU.
At the top of the immobiliser range, the IS357 and IC3ST are built around LockCar’s independent MCU, each including a TAG ID fob for hands-free disarming out of the box, with the IS357 adding a longer 5 metre detection range and support for a trust device such as a smartwatch or smart ring.
