YOUR CAR
CAN BE STOLEN
in under 60 seconds with no alarm triggered
Not every immobiliser needs a code punched into the dashboard every time you drive
A lot of aftermarket immobilisers work the same way: press a set sequence of buttons before the engine will start. It works, but it is one more thing to remember, every single journey. LockCar CAN-IMMO takes a different route: no keypad, no LEDs, control from an app and an optional TAG instead.
A button sequence is only secure if you never get it wrong
Button-sequence immobilisers work by hiding a PIN inside a combination of switches already fitted to the car, such as window buttons or steering wheel controls. To start the engine, the driver repeats that exact sequence every time.
That approach solves the theft problem, but it introduces a daily one: the driver has to remember the sequence correctly, in order, on every single start, including in a hurry, in the dark, or with passengers waiting. Get a step wrong and the car simply will not start until it is repeated.
It also usually means a visible keypad, an indicator light, or a set of dedicated buttons somewhere in the cabin, which is one more thing fitted to the dashboard that a driver has to explain to a passenger or a valet.
CAN-IMMO removes the keypad instead of hiding it better
CAN-IMMO is a CAN bus, LIN bus and ADC bus PIN immobiliser, but the PIN itself is not entered on a physical keypad in the car. Control runs through a smartphone app on Android or iPhone, connected over Bluetooth.
Add the optional Bluetooth proximity TAG and the daily routine changes again: as you approach the car with the TAG, the system disarms automatically, and no PIN entry is needed at all. There are no LEDs and no keypad fitted anywhere in the cabin.
Instead of asking the driver to remember and repeat a sequence, CAN-IMMO shifts that job to the phone in your pocket and, if fitted, a TAG that does the recognising for you.
What this actually changes on an ordinary morning
App instead of keypad
Configure, check status and manage the system from the LockCar app, without a dashboard panel to operate.
Hands-free with the TAG
With the optional TAG in range, the car disarms as you approach, with no PIN entry required.
Still ready for the workshop
Service and valet mode is available when you need to hand the car to a mechanic without disabling protection permanently.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need the phone with me every time I drive?
The app is used to configure and control the system. If the optional Bluetooth TAG is fitted, the car can disarm automatically when the TAG is in range, without needing the phone unlocked or open at the moment of driving.
Is there any visible sign the car has this fitted?
No. Installation is hidden, with no LEDs and no keypad visible in the cabin.
What if I lose the TAG?
The system can still be controlled through the smartphone app. Speak to your installer about configuring or replacing a TAG.
Can a mechanic or valet still use the car?
Yes. CAN-IMMO includes a service and valet mode for exactly this situation.
