Choose the right system
The LockCar One Plus 4G combines a dashcam, GPS tracker and immobiliser with fitting included. If you only need prevention and dashcam footage, the LockCar One is cheaper.
Book fitting with an approved installer
Fitting happens at your home or workplace. Send your car and postcode on WhatsApp and we will arrange a slot.
LockCAR systems and prices
Each system combines a dashcam with a hardwired immobiliser. On the 4G models, a GPS tracker is included as well. Fitting is included in the price.

Questions parents and new drivers ask
What does a GPS tracker show parents of a new driver?
Live location, journey history with route, time and distance, and driving reports on a 4G dashcam system. On a compatible LockCAR system you can also view the camera live. The point is a clear picture of where the car has been and how it was driven, not constant surveillance.
Should I tell my new driver the car is tracked?
Yes. Tracking a car used by another person means personal data is involved, and an agreed arrangement works better than covert monitoring. Explain what is recorded, why, and what you will do with the information before the system is fitted.
Will a GPS tracker lower a new driver’s insurance?
Some insurers take tracking or an immobiliser into account, but we cannot promise a discount or a lower premium. Ask your own insurer or broker what they accept before you buy.
Does a GPS tracker stop the car being stolen?
No. A tracker helps you find a car after it has been taken. The LockCAR system also includes a hardwired immobiliser, which keeps the engine blocked until the driver proves it is them, so the car cannot be driven away in the first place.
How much does a LockCAR system for a new driver cost?
The LockCar One Plus 4G, which combines a dashcam, immobiliser and GPS tracker, costs £499 with fitting included. The LockCar One, which has a dashcam and immobiliser but no GPS tracker, is £450. Immobiliser kits start at £139.
Does the system need a subscription?
No. LockCAR immobilisers need no subscription: the customer pays once. The dashcam and immobiliser systems include fitting in the price.
